Books

There are 19,411 books on the history, geography, religions, culture, economy, arts and literature of Asian countries from Japan to Afghanistan and down to Indonesia at the library.


Periodicals

This is a highly selected collection of magazines, with only 27 titles, that may be grouped into magazines with a regional perspective of Asia, magazines with an Asian country perspective, magazines with a development theme (such as women, environment, etc.) and general interest magazines.


The Magsaysay Papers

This collection has some 300,000 items and includes tapes and numerous speeches, letters, photographs, and newspaper clippings. It is the Foundation's hope to obtain copies of all executive orders and other state papers and to add taped oral records made by persons intimately familiar with President Magsaysay's youth, and his career as Congressman, Secretary of National Defense and President of the Republic. The Foundation will appreciate contributions of pertinent materials to this collection.


Awardees File

This is a collection of materials about the 236 Ramon Magsaysay Awardees. Materials include articles, pamphlets and brochures, newspaper clippings, internet searches, videotapes, work samples, and others. Books written by Awardees are cataloged and classified and are incorporated in the book collection.


Vertical File

This is a collection of selected pamphlets and other ephemeral materials that are classified by subject and arranged alphabetically by subject for easy retrieval.


Newspaper Clippings

This is a collection of selected clippings from newspapers that are classified by subject and arranged alphabetically by subject for easy retrieval.

Videotape Collection

A collection of videotapes of awardees, awarding ceremonies and other awards activities, nominees, staff activities and others.
