Project Description The project involves the writing of three  books - reforms in the Constitution of India, improving the discourse in India, and press in India. Writing of the book will require visits to and discussions with experts. Shourie will also conduct lectures in different parts of the country for the dissemination of ideas and to initiate discussions which can yield valuable input for the books.

Remarks:This project was implemented in 1991 and completed in 1995 under the auspices of the Program for Asian Projects (PAP) endowment fund from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF) and administered by the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF).
